Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore DOC 2010, Condé
Back in 2001, Francesco Condello started to make his dream come true: to give Sangiovese di Romagna a place of undiscussed belonging on the sunny hills of Predappio, in the Provincia of Forlí, Emilia Romagna. He was then joined by his daughter Chiara, now one of the brightest stars as young Italian winemaker. At the centre of its valley of vines, Condé boasts a highly rated hospitality resort. The 2010 vintage gives this Sangiovese di Romagna elegance and a great vocation to age gracefully! Tannins are velvety and the fruit is rich of cherry notes with a lovely liquorice undertone. The body is full but not overpowering leaving the palate satisfied with a pleasantly long lingering aftertaste. Ideal to pair with meat or rich sauces.
