The Producer

The Azienda Agricola Teo Costa, is located in the Roero, in the municipality of Castellinaldo d'Alba that in recent years has been characterised by great liveliness and territorial dynamism.

The Wine

Arneis is an indigenous autochthonous white grape variety of the Roero area. Forgotten for decades, it returned to prominence in the 80s. In the past it was made also into dessert wine but in recent years it has been rediscovered as ideal to produce an excellent white: young, delicate and complex. It is delicious in the first years of life, it also shows considerable potential with ageing.

This wine is well structured with good sapidity, ageing in both steel and wood for between 6 and 9 months gives it a lot of character, and the result is a floral and complex aroma with hints of freshly peeled pear. On the palate it is fresh, slightly aromatic and enthralling.

Goes well with

Pair with light sauces, seafood or grilled fish, drink with classic "aperitivo" food or meditate with it on its own.
