Primosic is a top 4 generations producer from Oslavia, not far from the border with Slovenjia in the white-wine-vocated area of the Collio Goriziano.
The Friulano wine used to be called Tocai until, in the mid-eighties, a legal battle on the use of the name was eventually won by Hungary. Locals are still calling it Tocai. "you can say it but not write it..."
Mineral and vibrant, fine on the nose with hints of blackcurrant, citrus and classic dry herbal notes; great richness on the palate with a lightly oily texture and notes of dried apricot and citrus, cleaned up with good acidity and a mineral firmness.
