Barolo DOCG, Brunate, Beni di Batasiolo, 2010
A superb product from Batasiolo in Brunate, one of the best vineyards in Barolo!
The wine making is thorough through stripping and fermentation plus maceration on the skins for 10-12 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.
Aged in slavonian oak casks for a minimum of two years and subsequently for at least twelve months in stainless steel tanks and more refinement in the bottle
Great with dishes of red meats, game, roasts and cheeses. Excellent with cured meats. Because of its pleasant softness, it can be considered a "Barolo for every meal".
The 2010 vintage in Piemonte is a classic "annata" with plenty of acidity, firm but ripe tannins and near-perfect balance
