The Condé wineries are located on the hills surrounding Predappio, which has long been considered the true home of Sangiovese.
Appreciation and respect for the terroir and for the traditions form the basis of the Condé philosophy. The desire to honour this natural and historical heritage saw the decision to plant mostly Sangiovese grapes on the estate, flanked to a lesser extent by Merlot.
Respect for the environment has always been a fundamental issue for the winery which follows the principles of integrated pest control and sustainable viticulture.
Deep ruby colour with glints of violet, tending towards garnet with ageing.
This Sangiovese has an intense bouquet of fruit, balsamic aromas in the mouth with long persistence, fine tannins are of rare elegance and the remarkable mineral character accompanies the long finish.
A full bodied wine with a great ageing potential and complexity, thanks to his unique characteristics it is the true interpreter of Condé terroir.
